About the League & Owners

About the League

The league was founded in 2007 and only had 8 owners in the inaugural season.  Here is a list of the OG members:

• Matt Shade (2soggyballs) - The FIRST champion of LOOG

• Dan Schmidt (Porkchop Sandwiches)

• Drew (Poop dog)

• Rob (Rob) - Wins the award for most creative team name

• Phil (Vick's DAWGZ)

• Chris (Pinko Bastards)

• Graham (Grizzle Fo Shizzle)

• Jerid (phils team sucks) - Jerid knew in the first year Phil would most definitely, on average, have the worse team and therefore suck.

The league went by a number of different names until it was officially changed to "A League of Ordinary Gentlemen" (LOOG) starting with the 2013 season.  Here is a list of those names:

• 2007: Trogdor the BURNinator

• 2008: McLovin

• 2009: Ted Danson

• 2010: Frank Sinatra

• 2011: Yet Another Philly Dream Team

• 2012: Win it for Garrett!!
